Details
Izanami is a hand-polished Burmese jadeite magatama, shaped in the curved form that has been worn in Japan since antiquity.
Each piece is naturally individual. Color, translucency, veining, and mineral pattern shift from stone to stone, giving every Izanami its own character. Some appear pale and clouded, others carry deeper green veins or cooler grey-green tones.
The jade is presented as it is, with its natural variation preserved rather than standardized.

Materials + Care
Each TORAÉ piece is made with natural gemstones and precious materials selected for their individual character.
Because jade, ruby, sapphire, and other natural stones are formed over time, variations in color, translucency, veining, inclusions, and surface character are expected. These differences are part of the piece, not imperfections.
To preserve your jewelry, avoid prolonged contact with chemicals, perfumes, and abrasive surfaces. Store each piece separately in its TORAÉ case or pouch when not worn.
For cleaning, use a soft dry cloth. For more delicate or high-value pieces, please contact us before using any cleaning solution.

Each order is prepared and packed individually by TORAÉ in Tokyo.
Domestic orders within Japan are dispatched with tracked delivery. Once your order has been prepared, you will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information by email.

Returns and exchanges are accepted in accordance with our store policy. Pieces that have been resized, adjusted, personalized, or specially prepared for the customer may not be eligible for return.
